   The Louisville Green Business Program provides free , hands - on support to businesses interested in implementing green practices such as energy efficient lighting , recycling and composting . Businesses that participate in the Green Business Program will receive recognition from the City for their achievements and will have access to cost - saving resources , rebates and incentives from the City , County and other regional partners . To join the program or to recertify a business for the 2022 Green Business Program ,
   begin an application here .
    The simple registration and application checklist makes it easy for businesses to track green practices and provides tips , ideas and resources that help to save money while reducing environmental impact .
