The Kingman Police Department has arrested 
   Mario William Fragassi
    , 53 of Golden Valley , and 
   Christopher Ayala
    , 48 of Olivehurst , CA , on felony charges of Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault ( multiple ) .   The charges are in connection to a bank robbery that occurred on Monday , February 26 , 2024 , at about 11:00am , at a bank in the 2400blk of Hualapai Mountain Rd , in Kingman .
   Mario Fragassi ,  
   who was involved in the police shooting , remains in Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas and is in the care and custody of Clark County Detention Center on the Kingman bank robbery charges .
   On Tuesday , February 27 , Kingman detectives located 
   Christophe
   r 
   Ayala
    at a residence in the 2300blk of Lass Ave . , where he was taken into custody without incident .
   Investigators determined that Fragassi had entered the bank , brandished a handgun and demanded cash from the bank teller while Ayala remained in the parked truck . Fragassi ran out of the bank with the stolen cash , $1715 . 00 , and fled in the truck driven by Ayala .  
   Investigators later learned that Ayala had quickly exited the truck once parked and entered the NAPA Auto Parts store , 2500blk of Andy Devine Ave .   As officers arrived , they located Fragassi inside the truck . While officers were involved with Fragassi , Ayala called for and left in a taxi .  
   Officers subsequently recovered the stolen cash in Fragassi’s possession .
   Ayala has been booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on his charges .
