The
City Commissionwill host a regular meeting at 6:30 p . m . Tuesday , Jan . 9 to consider:
Granting $33 , 000 to nonprofit organizations offering new or expanded services to homeless and disadvantaged individuals and families in the city
Expediting repair and resurfacing of hardcourts at Pettis Park—closed due to rain damage since last November—and Rocco Park—which are approaching the end of their anticipated life expectancy
Donating $12 , 000 to the
Boys & Girls Club of Volusia/Flagler Countiesto help set up a temporary location at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church using portables donated by
Volusia County Schools
Approving an action plan by consultant
LTG Engineering & Planningto implement recent Parking Task Force recommendations that include a parking payment app , seasonal remote parking , dynamic wayfinding signs , establishing a citywide mobility department , and more
Plus 21 other action - packed agenda items!
The floor will open for public participation shortly after the meeting begins in the James W . Hathaway Commission Chambers at 214 Sams Ave .
