   Wilmington’s Public Works Department has compiled the attached list of streets on which construction or maintenance will occur this week by the City itself , or by either DelDOT , Delmarva Power , or private contractors . This information is for 
   Monday , January 29 through Friday , February 2 , 2024
    .   
   The City’s website contains a 
   real - time map
    that is updated daily so you can follow any changes to the weekly schedule caused by weather or other construction - related delays .  Public Works Commissioner Kelly Williams said every effort is made to compile the most accurate list each week of street projects that could affect your travel in the City the following week . She cautioned , however , that the time frames for the listed projects could be altered if they are delayed due to factors such as the weather .  
    
    
   The 
   Delaware Department of Transportation ( DelDOT )
    reminds motorists that there is a left lane restriction on Jackson Street in Wilmington between Park Place ( just off Delaware Avenue ) and 4
   th
    Street for landscape maintenance . The lane restriction , which went into effect yesterday , will remain in place weekdays from 9:00 a . m . to 3:00 p . m . through Friday , February 2 , 2024 . The work is weather permitting and motorists should use caution and expect minor delays in the area .
    
   DelDOT also reminds motorists that Phase 2 of the 
   Rogers Road Concrete Reconstruction Project 
   is continuing and is expected to be complete in early February . One lane of Rogers Road is now open while 
   South Heald Street remains closed in both directions between Rogers Road and Route 13
    . A detour has been posted .   The work is weather permitting and motorists should use caution and expect minor delays in the area .
