As our community continues to grow and develop , we want to make sure the tools we have in place to showcase our City do the same .
That ' s why we teamed up with
2A Marketing ,
in Belton , to redesign and reimagine the City ' s logo .
Our goal was not only to update the logo , but to make sure that the new logo was easily recognizable , honors our history and captures the unique relationship between the City of Harrisonville and Cass County .
Harrisonville is in a unique position , serving as the county seat for Cass County . Throughout our history , the most iconic piece of Harrisonville has been the Historic Cass County Courthouse on the square . In an effort to avoid simply using the courthouse , a building the City does not own or operate , we looked at options that would allow us to capture the true essence of the square . We believe we have found this in building the H out of red bricks , like those on the square , and using the clock tower of the courthouse to fill the open space in the bottom of the H .
During this process , we also took the time to update the City slogan:
Where Tradition Meets Innovation

This new slogan came about as we partnered with members of our community to create our new City - Wide Comprehensive Plan . We feel this new slogan both describes and empowers Harrisonville , and we will be using it prominently as we share our story .
