From December 26th , 2023 - January 31st , 2024 , Wheat Ridge Residents can recycle their Christmas trees for FREE! 
   Drop off your trees at either of the two locations - Anderson Park ' s east parking lot or Panorama Park ' s east parking lot during park hours ( 7am - 6pm ) .
   Not only are you helping the environment , but your trees will be chipped into mulch that gets recycled and used in planter beds and around trees in City parks .
   Please note that only Christmas trees ( no artificial trees ) will be accepted , and yard waste , regular tree cuttings , and other yard debris will NOT be accepted . Please remove all ornaments , lights , twine and garland from the trees . Thank you for your cooperation!
