   Maplewood Debuts Swim Lessons
    for All Maplewood Department of Community Services is pleased to announce the opening of our 2022 Community Swim Lesson Registration on Wednesday , May 25 at 10:00am .
   Memorial Day Parade - NEW ROUTE
    The Township of Maplewood’s annual Memorial Day Parade is back on Monday , May 30 with an updated route .
    
   Public Meeting Addressing Tuscan/Burnett/Springfield Ave Intersection
    Township officials will be hosting a Public Meeting on Tuesday , May 31 to address issues at the intersection of Tuscan Road ,  Burnett Avenue , and Springfield Avenue .  
    
   MAPSO PRIDE 2022: Existence is Resistance!
    MAPSO PRIDE is a time for Maplewood and South Orange and residents to come together in celebration of all LGBTQIA+ identities . As we shine a light on LGBTQIA+ existence as resistance through art , poetry , proms , picnics , and parties , we celebrate how far we have come and recognize how much more there is to do to ensure our visibility and validity as citizens and communities .
    
   Voter Guide 2022
    Take a few minutes to get ready for the June primary election by looking over the Township Clerk ' s 2022 Voter Guide Brochure .  
    
   Adult - Use Cannabis Guide
    Essex County has partnered with ADAPT and GCADA to create an adult - use cannabis guide with essential info and resources .
    
   Village to Village: a Fair Supporting Ukraine
    St . Joseph’s Church , The United Tastes of America , and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Holy Ascension present Village to Village: a Maplewood Fair Supporting Ukraine . The event will take place at St . Joseph’s Church ( 767 Prospect Street ) on Sunday , June 5 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm .
    
   FREE Safe Bike Skills Course
    The Maplewood Police Department , Safe Routes to School New Jersey , and EZ Ride have partnered up to bring EZ Ride ' s Safe Routes to School & Bike Skills course to Maplewood youth for FREE . Two sessions will be held on Saturday , June 11 , 2022 at the Maplecrest Park Tennis Area .
    
   Essex County Compost Bin & Rain Barrel Sale
    Essex County is excited to offer its Spring 2022 Community Compost Bin and Rain Barrel Sale . Residents are encouraged to explore the online store to find earth - friendly products at special community bulk prices . One of this year ' s pickup locations is the Maplewood Town Hall parking lot .
      
   We ' re Hiring - Police Dispatchers
    The Township of Maplewood Police Department is seeking applicants to fill part - time positions as Police Dispatchers .
    
   Community Board on Police Seeks Youth Member
    Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis .
      
   Free Wellness Screenings from Maplewood and Braven Health
    The Maplewood Health Department has partnered with Braven Health to offer FREE wellness screenings to all residents ages 18+ .
