The results are in and we ' re doing the happy dance! It really doesn ' t get much better than this - - we saved 99% of the animals we received in 2023!
    
   We ' re proud of this number and couldn ' t do it without the hard work of our dedicated staff and volunteers . These numbers are a result of lifesaving endeavors , such as our community cat program , strong partnerships with the animal rescue groups and in - house foster and adoption programs .
    
   Of the animals received in 2023 , 98% of dogs , 99% of cats and 100% of ' other ' animals ( rabbits , hamsters , birds , reptiles , etc . ) were saved .  
   These figures far exceed how “no kill” shelters are typically measured; whereby saving a minimum of 90% of all healthy and treatable animals .
