Nantucket Community Pool is looking for a committed, driven individual to create and develop a year-round Nantucket Aquatics water-polo program. The ideal candidate will have experience with both water-polo and coaching.
November 8, 2023 – June 30, 2024
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Oversee and coordinate the Nantucket Aquatics water-polo program - Up to five hours per week (occasional weekends).
- Work with the Aquatics Director to schedule practice times for two programs: Developmental program (noodle-polo) & Competitive Program (water-polo)
- Coach Practices - Provide leadership and instruction on water-polo strategy and skills - Coordinate assistants
- Work with the Aquatics Director to purchase any necessary supplies or equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- AS or higher degree of education
- Lifeguard and CPR Certification (or willing to obtain)
- USA Water Polo Coaching Certification (or willing to obtain)
