   Wastewater Collections Unit Operator Apprentice
   Rate of Pay: $18.18 - $21.72
    
   The City of Marysville has an opening for a Wastewater Collections Unit Operator Apprentice. Primary duties include operating equipment and performing various tasks to maintain City sanitary collection systems; assisting and actively learning from the Collections Unit Operators to ensure the efficient operation of 20+ lift stations and sanitary sewer collection system; and maintain equipment in proper operating condition by performing preventive maintenance tasks.
   Job Requirements:
   High School Diploma
   Valid Ohio Driver's License
   Class A-CDL (or able to obtain one within 6 months of hire)
   Must be able to obtain minimum Class I Collections System Certification from the Ohio EPA by the end of 2nd year of service.
   Prior experience in collections system maintenance procedures is plus.
   Applications will be accepted until 4 PM on Friday, March 4. All candidates must attend the Civil Service test in order to be eligible for consideration. The
   Civil Service Test will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 10
   , at the Marysville Division of Police (1250 W. 5th St.). There is a mandatory $10 test/app fee which can be paid upon test entry.
