This is a non-supervisory position responsible for the day-to-day operations of a regional Veterans Network. Duties include: Oversee, guide and report on the veteran program activity; Provide operational support to the staff regarding outreach, planning, developing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the Veterans Network project: Ensuring program compliance, including program and fiscal data evaluations and reporting; Provide on-going operational support to veteran network providers; Foster continuing provider relations and marketing in the community.
Oversee day-to-day operations of regional Veterans Network program; Working knowledge of Unite Us platform; Provide case management to veterans, dependents, military spouses, dependents and service members. Develop and implement marketing information in various formats including (but not limited to) public presentations; Proficiency in interpersonal and organizational communication; Expertise in program management, program supervision and program implementation; Knowledge of case management; Proficiency in Microsoft office programs; Ability to use current forms of technology for productivity (i.e., laptop, cellphone); Able to assist in the development of and work within budget; Travel required; Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Desired Education/Job Experience:
Bachelor Degree preferred in Social Services, Human Services, Business, Public Administration, or a related field or; Two (2) years of experience in the field of social services, other human services, or related field. Two (2) years of full-time social services or experience may be substituted for one year of the required education with the maximum substitution of four (4) years for two (2) years of education or; Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skill and abilities.
Three (3) to Five (5) years of public speaking, case management, program management, supervisory experience or any combination of education and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to sufficiently perform job duties.
Other Qualifications:
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Word Excel, PowerPoint, and data inquiry software; Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, ability to access community resources, ability to solve complex problems; Valid Texas driver's license or available alternate means of transportation;
Veteran or military spouse required

This position is a Pay Grade 13, with a starting annual salary of $42,577.60. This is an exempt position. Open until Filled.
