The Village of Grafton Water & Wastewater Utility is seeking hardworking and energetic people to join our team and is currently accepting applications for Utility Operators. The Utility Department operates, maintains, and repairs the municipal water and wastewater systems for the entire Village including 3 water towers, 6 wells, 70 miles of water mains, 800 hydrants, 1

sanitary sewage lift stations, 60 miles of sanitary mains, and the wastewater treatment plant that treats approximately 1.50 mgd. Utility Operators perform a wide variety of tasks pertinent to the operation and maintenance of these systems, refer to Job Description for complete details. New Utility Operators get the opportunity to learn all aspects of the Village Utility before specializing in certain areas. The Water and Wastewater Utility includes 8 Utility Operators, a Field Operations Coordinator, Assistant Utility Director/Engineer, and the Director/Village Engineer.
The Village of Grafton offers a competitive benefits package including health insurance and participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System. The pay range for this position is $23.55/hour - $31.84/hour, starting pay is dependent on qualifications.
