On 01/02/2024 at approximately 9:30 a . m . the Wright County Communications Center received a report of a two vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 35 W and County Road 7 SW in Middleville Township .  Wright County Deputies responded along with Officers from the Howard Lake Police Department .  Howard Lake Fire and Rescue also responded .  
   The investigation indicates a 2015 Kenworth semi - tractor pulling a grain trailer was northbound on County Road 7 SW and failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection with County Road 35 W . The semi - tractor collided with a 2013 Cadillac CTS that was traveling east on County Road 35 W .  
   The driver of the Cadillac , Christopher Gallagher , age 40 from Cokato , needed extrication from his vehicle by the Howard Lake Fire Department .  Gallagher was transported by ambulance to HCMC with minor injuries .  The driver of the semi - tractor , Isadore Mallak , age 40 from Wadena , was not injured .   Mallak was cited at the scene for careless driving .
