Due to street repaving work by our Public Works Dept . , Batavia St . will experience lane closures and traffic delays between from Maple Ave . to the railroad tracks , 8:30 a . m . to 3:30 p . m . , starting on Saturday May 21 , and then afterwards from Monday through Friday for approximately two weeks .   Traffic will be impacted by alternating lane closures in either direction during the duration of the project .
    
   The work being done on Batavia St . will include a new asphalt concrete overlay on the street and restriping , along with adjustments to pavement markers , utility boxes , and imbedded traffic detectors .
    
   We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you , and advise you to plan alternative routes during the project construction hours .
