Greetings and welcome to today’s Town Hall Happenings:
Opening Note:
This past Tuesday Lt . Governor Susan Bysiewicz , Veterans Affairs Commissioner Thomas Saadi , and I hosted another Weston Veterans recognition program - this time for those who served during Vietnam . It was a beautiful ceremony and I’m grateful that we were able to properly honor these heroes although long overdue . Thank you State Senator Will Haskell , State Senator Tony Hwang , and State Representative Anne Hughes for being part of this program . Most importantly , to all the Veterans who attended , thank you for sharing your stories and know that we are deeply grateful for your service to our country and to our community .
