The City of Fort Morgan has scheduled the first phases of its 2022 water main replacement work , which will involve traffic disruptions and water outages starting next week .
   On Monday , June 13 , work will begin on the first project on West Beaver Avenue , starting at Ensign Street and working toward West Street .  This project will take approximately two weeks and will require intermittent traffic closures along West Beaver and the side streets that it intersects . Water outages will also occur throughout this time , but affected residents will be notified separately .
    
   The next water main to be replaced is on State Street from East Platte Avenue to East Riverview Avenue and is scheduled to start June 20 . This project also will take a couple of weeks and will include the same types of traffic closures and water outages .
    
   All of this work is being done ahead of the 2022 Strictly for Streets rebuilds .   
    
   Several other water line replacements will also be coming up throughout the summer months . These include Lincoln Street between East Platte and East Riverview; Linda Street from East Ninth Avenue to East Riverview; and Industry Drive in the city’s industrial park .
    
   Scheduling of these and other street and utility projects will be announced as it becomes available .
