Scope of work: 
    Responsible for supervising and planning, and implementing activities for our summer camp participants. This is an outdoor, active, and high energy position. The summer camp counselor is responsible for following daily procedures and lesson plans. 
   Qualifications:
   High School Diploma or GED diploma, organized and detailed oriented with customer service experience
   Must be at least 18 years old 
   Experience working with children
   Ability to accept responsibility, make decisions and take charge when necessary
   Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate 
   Basic Computer Skills
   First Aid and Child/Adult CPR certified (or ability to obtain)
   Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical and background check
   Be concerned for the social adjustment of each camper.
   Promote camper participation in all activities, specialties in crafts, dance, sports, and music are all a plus.
   Assist with set up and take down of camp activities daily.
   Responsible, friendly, enthusiastic, patient and willing to learn
   Participate in counselor training.
   All other duties as assigned.

   Work is performed mostly in an outdoors setting. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to observe and interact with children and adults alike.
   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, talk or hear.
   Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 
   The employee must occasionally lift and or/ move up to 25 pounds.
