Streets Department Technician
The City of Rockdale is currently accepting applications for a Streets Dept Technician. Job duties include: patching, maintaining, cleaning city streets, both paved and unpaved; cutting grass, weeds, undergrowth from right of way of city streets and easements; collecting and disposing of debris in streets and right of ways; basic maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and city barn area. Work in coordination with Parks Department as needed. Based on 40 hours per week, but subject to answer calls to work in the event of an emergency such as flooding, storm damage, debris in streets, etc. or scheduled overtime due to City activities.
