Williamson County Government Community Development is accepting applications for a Stormwater Quality Coordinator. The individual in this position will administer the Williamson County Storm Water Management Program, including: construction site storm water runoff control, pollution prevention and good housekeeping for County facilities, illicit discharge detection and elimination, post construction storm water management, public education/outreach and public involvement/participation, and stream monitoring. This position will perform inspections of all developmental and non-residential sites that have Land Disturbance Permits. The individual in this position must understand and read surveys/plots and plans, have great communication and interpersonal skills, and have technical and analytical skills.
Education and/or Experience: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, environmental or natural sciences, or related degree and work experience required.
Certifications preferred below:
TDEC Level 1/ Level 2 Erosion/ Sediment Control Certifications
Tennessee Qualified Hydrologic Professional (TN-QHP)
Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC)
Applicants for this position should have the qualifications and experience necessary to understand and perform tasks such as those listed above and other similar duties.
