Job Description
Unless otherwise stated, all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications stated herein are essential functions of this position.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Under the general direction of the Recreation Supervisor and Start Smart Leader, the Start Smart Soccer Staff will assist with leading stations and games for youth, ages 3 - 6. Emphasis on parent-child interaction
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:
The Start Smart Soccer Staff will work Mondays and Wednesday from 5pm-7pm, April 25th - May 18th.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for the position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive; other duties may be required and assigned.
Provides general supervision and leadership for program participants
Responsible for assisting Start Smart Leader with activities.
Assists with instructing and leading participants in games and stations.
Provides effective communication with Start Smart Leader
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of soccer and supervising children in an educational or recreational setting and leading kids in active games.
Must be able to withstand frequent standing, walking and running during the day
Ability to carry out assigned tasks with minimal supervision
