Welcome back to the annual Las Cruces Utilities Spring Stroll in the Garden from 9 a . m . to noon Thursday , May 26 , 2022 at the Las Cruces Utilities Building , 680 N . Motel Boulevard .
Come out to the garden , have some coffee and pastries while you learn how to plant and irrigate a garden in the desert … surrounded by beautiful blooming healthy plants that are grown in our area with the use of efficient irrigation and local free compost .
“Ask an Expert” is the opportunity to ask experts your landscape questions about plants and trees , irrigation , and soil and mulches . Samples are encouraged .
A FREE Demonstration Garden Guide will be given out – the guide also is available electronically at

. Also , there will be a water wise plant give - away , and Class A+ Compost , also known as “Black Gold , ” and compost made from green waste at the Las Cruces Utilities Foothills Landfill will be available in limited supply .
