What is the Middlesex County Special Needs Registry?
The Special Needs Registry is a no - cost service offered by Middlesex County . Through the efforts of a liaison at each Police Department in Middlesex County , the goal of the Registry is for all of Middlesex County residents who are in need of special assistance to get the suitable support , response , and required resources from local First Responders . Whether it be during an emergency , or during interaction with Law Enforcement , the individuals registered will be able to properly inform Law Enforcement of any sensitivity that needs to be addressed during interactions .
This registry is open to all individuals with special needs who reside , attend school , or are employed within Middlesex County .
ALL INFORMATION will be kept confidential , and will be solely utilized by First Responders in the case of a call for service or an emergency .
Upon registration , there will be an in - person meeting with your municipality ' s liaison to further ensure any and all questions are addressed .
An in - house registration may be submitted for the residents of Jamesburg Borough and Helmetta Borough at the Jamesburg Police Department located at 225 Gatzmer Ave , Jamesburg , NJ 08831 .
