The City is hosting a virtual open house June 1 , 5–7:30 pm for the SEA School–Wildwood Park Flood Reduction Project .
   All members of the public can attend and Wildwood Park neighborhood residents are encouraged to attend and provide feedback on the revised 50 percent design plans .
   In partnership with the Bassett Creek Watershed Management Commission ( BCWMC ) , the City of Golden Valley
    has been working on the project since 2020 identifying issues and needs of the park , engaging with residents and stakeholders , and developing concept plans for design and construction .
   Next , the project team is working on project design and is preparing to share design plans with the public at the upcoming open house .
