The
   City of Williston ND
   is working on the water meter system and will need access to your water meter .   Please set up your appointment today to prevent an interruption of your service .  
   The current water meters have been in service for 15 to 30 years and have reached the end of their useful lives . As water meters age , they often lose accuracy , resulting in incorrect billing , non - revenue water loss and eventually water rate increases . The new meters , which have an expected 20 - year battery life , will ensure accurate readings and billing .
   The City has contracted with
   Raines Meter Mendersto execute the new meter installation and to schedule appointments . They will need to enter your residence and gain access to your water meter .
   Raines Meter Menderswill carry identification and will be driving marked vehicles . You can reserve your appointment time on their website at

    .   If you book online , you can see all the times and dates available to choose from .   If you don’t go online , you can call them at

    .   They will be experiencing high call volumes so please leave a message .   They will return your call when they are available .  
   Raines Meter Menders will be in
   Williston NDinstalling meters beginning on April 26
   th
   2024 .   These meters
   AREinside the home , in a crawl space or in the basement .    Avoid being disconnected and BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT TODAY!
   Note: This is an ongoing project , and residents who have already had their meters replaced may disregard this notice .  
   Please note that the water meter replacement is mandatory and funded through water meter rates so you will NOT receive additional charges for this work .
