Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Executive director, responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining: (1) a program for the recruitment and retention of qualified individuals to the CSB workforce, with a focus on minorities; (2) a Volunteer Services program; and (3) a program utilizing the One Church Once Child (OCOC) model to reduce disparities and the disproportionality of African American children in foster care waiting to be adopted by establishing long-term relationships with faith-based communities in order to better support African American children and families involved with the Agency. Work with the Public Information Officer to recruit individuals and families within communities of faith to become licensed foster parents and/or adoptive parents.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s level degree in Marketing or related field, preferred. (3) years of proven experience in recruiting, community organizing, event planning, marketing, or working on diversity-related programs or initiatives. Must have valid Ohio driver’s license, state minimum automobile insurance, and car available at all times.
