The Lima Civil Service Board will conduct an open and competitive written examination for the following position:
RECEPTIONIST, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
Starting Salary – $18.13 per hour; $1,450.40 bi-weekly
Job Responsibilities: In addition to the following, performs other related duties as required:
Under general supervision, performs basic public relations activities; assists with secretarial and security duties; receives
and directs visitors; maintains visitor log and badges; prepares variety of material from rough draft, recording or written or
oral instruction; maintains facility.
Necessary Qualifications: The training, education, and work experience, which indicate possession of the knowledge,
skills, and abilities listed below. The minimum acceptable qualifications for this position are:
Completion of high school education supplemented by course work or experience in telephone courtesy, typing and general
business practices, or equivalent.
