Beginning on Friday , April 29 , the City’s contractor Pavement Technology will begin applying an asphalt rejuvenator to qualifying streets .  
   This product is used on an annual basis to extend the life of pavement by an additional five to seven years . The maintenance process involves sealing and restoring the natural pavement oils that erode due to traffic volume , direct sunlight , extreme temperatures and moisture .  
   Weather permitting , this project is estimated to take seven to 10 days to complete . Affected roadways include:
