   CITY OF EDGERTON
   FULL-TIME PUBLIC WORKS OPERATOR
   The City of Edgerton is taking applications for a full-time Laborer/Equipment Operator with the City of Edgerton Public Works.  The ideal candidate will have experience in operating equipment (dump truck, plow truck with wing, end loader, backhoe, and other heavy equipment), be able to lift and carry objects in excess of 100 pounds, have a valid Wisconsin CDL or obtain one within six months of hire, and a high school diploma or equivalent.  Any skilled labor/utility experience is a plus.   Duties include street maintenance, parks maintenance, refuse and sanitation functions in parks, brush collection, cemetery maintenance, storm sewer maintenance, building maintenance, and other duties identified by the Municipal Services Director.  
   The starting wage is $22.84 per hour, with annual step increase each year for the first ten years.   Excellent benefit package.   Typical work hours are M-F from 7:00am to 3:30pm with overtime as needed.
