   Notice of Sanitary Sewer Overflows
    
   On January 16 , 2024 , during repairs to the County’s Washington Street Sanitary Sewer Force Main , sanitary sewer overflows occurred at the following locations:
   In the vicinity of the Washington Street Pump Station in North East , approximately 115 , 000 gallons overflowed from Cecil County manhole # 1335 , with some entering Little Northeast Creek;
    
   In the vicinity of the Charlestown Crossing Pump Station , approximately 10 , 500 gallons overflowed from Cecil County manhole # 21228 , with some entering an unnamed tributary of the Northeast River;
    
   In the vicinity of 346 Cather Avenue in Charlestown , approximately 200 gallons overflowed from Cecil County manhole # 2083 , with some entering an unnamed tributary of the Northeast River .
