The public is invited to a ribbon cutting for the official opening of the Auger Falls Skills Park at 1 p . m . Wednesday , June 1 . The Skills Park is located in the Auger Falls Wetland Preserve by following signs from the parking area . The Skills Park has been developed over the past year and was recently completed with the addition of the signage to identify the trail flow .
   The opening will include brief remarks from organizers of the park , as well as a ribbon cutting for the new trail signage . Access to the Skills Park is by dirt trail , so appropriate footwear is encouraged for anyone attending the ribbon cutting .
   The Skills Park was a collaborative effort by MaVTEC , Dirt Trail Alliance , Blue Cross Foundation of Idaho , and City of Twin Falls to develop an area where cyclists can practice trail riding techniques . The park includes a downhill flow trail on about 2 acres in the Auger Falls Preserve . The skills park is for moderate to advanced cyclists and helmets are encouraged when riding .
