American Tobacco District Waterline Replacement – Phase 1 Project Update and Two - Week Look Ahead

Planned Road / Lane Closures will occur as follows:
Week of 6/13:
Lane closures and shifts in Peabody Street between Main Street and Duke Street .
Lane shifts in Willard Street between Yancey Street and Julian Carr Street .
Varying temporary lane shifts in project area .
Week of 6/20:
Lane closures and shifts in Peabody Street between Main Street and Duke Street .
Lane shifts in Willard Street between Yancey Street and Julian Carr Street .
Varying temporary lane shifts in project area .
Bicycle Lane and Sidewalk impacts will occur as follows:
Portions of the sidewalk on the west side of Gregson Street between Peabody and Pettigrew streets will have temporary closures to accommodate sidewalk replacements .
Saturday – Sunday June 11 - 12 , 2022:
On Saturday , Willard Street between Julian Carr and Jackson streets will have temporary lane shifts to accommodate waterline testing and final restoration .
Traffic control signs and markings will be used for the lane closures and shifts .
Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours .
Planned work hours are 7 AM to 7 PM .
No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated .
No work is planned on Sunday .
Week of June 13 , 2022:
Peabody Street between Main Street and Duke Street will have isolated lane closures to accommodate pavement replacement .
Peabody Street between Main Street and Gregson Street will have isolated lane closures with local access being maintained .
Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours .
Planned work hours are 7 AM to 7 PM .
No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated .
Willard Street between Julian Carr and Jackson streets will have temporary lane shifts to accommodate waterline testing and final restoration .

No work is planned on Saturday or Sunday .
