    ) Fire Captain David Padilla Jr will be the point of contact for all public information requests for the City of Yuma Fire Department ( YFD ) . Please feel free to route any future requests for information through David .
    
   David is a 10+ - year member of YFD and has over 20 years in the fire service . He is a Captain currently assigned to Fire Administration for public information at YFD . David holds certifications as a Paramedic , Hazardous Materials Technician , and Technical Rescue Technician . David is very approachable , extremely knowledgeable , and excited for the opportunity to craft the image of the Yuma Fire Department , and work with local media outlets and personalities .
