Windsor Colorado - Poudre River Trail Alert 06 April 2024 ( news )

   Trail Alert: A portion of the Poudre River Trail will temporarily close starting Monday , April 8 through Wednesday , April 10 at the pedestrian bridge over the Poudre River Trail at Eastman Park for the construction work of a new trail alignment . It will reopen on Wednesday , April 10 onto a temporary alignment to facilitate site grading and the installation of a new concrete trail closer to the river . Please note , no detour will be provided . Work schedules are weather - permitting and subject to change . Park users wanting to access the Treasure Island Demonstration Garden will still be able to park in the dirt lot at the end of Laku Lake Rd .
