   The Ohio Department of Transportation ( ODOT ) has awarded Safety Program funding to the City of Northwood for pedestrian safety improvements along SR51 ( Woodville Road ) to construct sidewalks where coverage gaps currently exist , to improve curb ramps to American Disability Act ( ADA ) standards , and to construct a Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon ( PHB ) signalized pedestrian crossing of Woodville Road near Gould Street .    Once completed , there will be continuous sidewalk coverage from Mason Street southeastward to the intersection of Woodville Road with SR579 . The total project cost is estimated to be $1 , 212 , 800 with ODOT covering nearly 85% ( $1 , 025 , 100 ) of the costs . The project construction is anticipated to start in June of 2025 and be completed by August of 2025 .
