The Lake Zurich Fire Prevention Bureau is seeking candidates for the position of Part-time Fire Prevention Clerk.  The Fire Prevention Bureau is located at 1075 N. Old McHenry Road in Lake Zurich.  Business hours are 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.     
   Position Responsibilitie
   s
    
   Performs intermediate administrative support work for the Fire Prevention Bureau, and related work as apparent or assigned.  Essential functions include:   
   Answers department emails and emails plan reviews.
   Logs plan reviews into the system, enters permit information, types and emails plan review.
   Assists as needed in the purchasing requirements of the Fire Prevention Bureau.
   Files and maintains inspection reports and associated contact information.
   Answers department phone calls.
   Prepares billing requests or invoices.
   Assists in the planning and coordination of fire prevention activities.
