Position Description
Park Ranger
Position: Park Ranger
Reports to: Park Superintendent
Salary Range: $12.40 - $14.03 per hour
Dates of employment: Seasonal
Responsibilities:
Explain park features
Explain park rules and regulations
Assist in Park Rental Reservations
Fix toilets/plumbing issues or shut-off water to prevent further damage
Perform building inspections
Secure building doors/windows
Respond to facilities where rentals have problems
Inspect buildings after rentals to confirm/document damage security deposit withholdings
Perform lighting inspections
Insure all Park Facilities are secured at end of patrol
Requirements:
Must be able to work outdoors
Must possess a valid Missouri Driver’s License
Be on time for work each day
Follow all safety policies
Must be able to work independently after receiving directions from a supervisor
Be available for some weekend shifts
