This position performs painting duties in support of city maintenance operations. Assists in the general maintenance of city buildings, facilities and equipment as needed. Ensures that proper paint and primer is used on painting tasks, taking into consideration weather conditions and exposure, type of usage by patrons, and applicable safety standards and codes. Completes work orders. Removes or paints over graffiti; repairs vandalism. Assists in the construction of new buildings and structures; paints new buildings and structures. Prepares time, material and cost estimates. Performs related duties.
