   Traffic on Baxter St . between 1072 Baxter St . and 1078 Baxter St . will have an ongoing lane closure due to continued sewer line work as part of the Brooklyn Creek Interceptor Improvement Project Phase 1 . The work zone on Baxter Drive is located in an area between Baxter Drive and Collins Avenue .
   Work is 70% complete and is tentatively expected to last until Fall 2024 due to the presence of extensive rock that needs to be removed .
   As a result of the construction , this area of Baxter Street is down to one lane in the area . A temporary traffic signal will be installed to guide traffic through the work zone alternating with each direction of travel .
   Delays are expected and motorists should seek alternate routes until the project is completed .
