Beginning Monday , May 23 at 7:30am

    both southbound lanes of North Main Street will be closed between
   Broce Drive and Progress Street
    . To facilitate the southbound movement traffic will be shifted into the inside northbound lane . Both north and south movements will be maintained , however , with only one lane of traffic in each direction .
   Atmos Energy will be continuing to work to replace an old gas main located within the travel lane . Sidewalk access will be maintained for the duration of the work . Access to all adjacent entrances and to Montgomery Street will be maintained . Depending on the extent of the work area needed to complete the work , a flagger operation may be utilized to facilitate movements from Montgomery Street .
   The work is scheduled to take 3 days . The lane closure will be removed daily by 5:30pm and reestablished the following day at 7:30am . Work is schedule to be complete by 5:00pm on Friday , May 27 ,
   
   weather permitting .
