City Manager Michael Martinez invites new employees to Popcorn with the City Manager , a new recurring event that allows new employees to meet and interact with Brighton ' s executive leaders in an informal setting . Within their first month , new employees are encouraged to join us on the 6th floor for popcorn and networking . New employees can bring their supervisors or another buddy to help them feel more comfortable , should they choose . This even will occur on the third Thursday of each month .
