   The Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department is now hiring hundreds of seasonal workers for spring and summer positions in Aquatics , Golf , Parks , and Recreation operations . Opportunities include lifeguards , maintenance workers , coaches , day camp leaders , and more . A listing of available jobs and applications are online at

   The Department will hold four job fairs in the upcoming months to allow potential employees to see available jobs , ask questions , and get help applying . Job fairs will be held:
   Friday , January 26 | 3 - 7 PM | Ellis Event Center , 1401 Zika Avenue NW
   Saturday , February 24 | 10 AM - 3 PM | Northwest Recreation Center , 1340 11
   thStreet NW
   Monday , March 11 | 9 AM - 6 PM | City Services Center , 500 15
   thAvenue SW
   Thursday , March 14 | 9 AM - 6 PM | City Services Center 500 15
   thAvenue SW
   For those who need help applying and are unable to attend a job fair , assistance is available at the Parks and Recreation office at the City Services Center , 500 15
   thAvenue SW , weekdays from 7 a . m . to 4:30 p . m .
