2021 Human Rights Awards
   At this week ' s City Council meeting , members of the Human Rights and Diversity Commission presented the 2021 Human Rights Award winners . The award recognizes a local individual , youth , nonprofit organization and/or business who have worked to create an inclusive community spirit through actions , activities or programs .

   Stop the Trafficking 5k
   Registration is open for the Stop the Trafficking live and virtual events . The live event will take place on Saturday , June 11 at 8:30 a . m . at Purgatory Creek Park . Pre - race speakers will begin at 8:10 a . m . near the pavilion . The virtual event is an opportunity to run or walk 3 . 1 miles in your home , at a park or through your neighborhood . Your race time can be entered online from Saturday , June 11 through Sunday , June 19 to be ranked against other virtual participants . Learn more and register at

   Lucas Osowski
    as utility maintenance operator . Before joining the City , Lucas worked at the City of Mounds View . He earned a finance degree from Northern State University .
