The MLK Day of Service Community Cleanup will be on
Saturday , January 13 , 2024 , from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM . This event will be a litter cleanup that everyone can participate in!

. If you are with a group , you only need one of the group members to submit the form for the entire group .
This community cleanup will take place at
James McKnight Park East . Address: 700 U . S . 287 Frontage Rd
During the event , the City of Mansfield will be kicking off their month - long Be Kind Mansfield challenge!
What do you need to bring?
The most important thing is a smiling happy face and a can - do attitude . If you ' re a trash - bash professional and want to bring your own supplies such as trash grabbers or heavy - duty gloves we encourage you to do so! We do recommend wearing close - toed shoes , jeans/long pants , bringing a reusable water bottle , and wearing sunscreen and bug spray .
Cleanup supplies provided include:
Trash Bags
Gloves
Safety Vests ( for groups working near roadways )
If you have grabbers at home , we recommend that you bring them to use at the event .
