JOURNEYMAN LINEMAN
Electric Division, City of Bowling Green, Ohio
Current Hourly Rate of Pay: $38.47/hour, which equates to $80,017.60 annual
base salary
Pay Rate as of 7/1/2022 will be $39.43/hour, which equates to $82,014.40 annual base salary
Base of 40 hours per week; with potential overtime and duty pay.
This position is responsible for constructing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the City’s electrical distribution system.
Operates equipment; m
aintains service lines; analyzes and repairs outage situations; connects new customers to electrical power; maintains street lights; informs public of work. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; successful completion of a lineman apprenticeship program; Commercial Class A Driver’s License; three to five years of relevant experience. Employees accrue vacation leave and sick leave per the collective bargaining agreement which is online at
