Bismarck City offices and the Landfill will be closed on Monday , January 1st due to the New Years Day holiday . No Garbage or Recycling Collection on the holiday .  Christmas Trees will be collected January 2 - 11 on the regular scheduled collection day .  A separate truck will pick up the Christmas Trees .
   Garbage and Recycling ( Green Route ) Collection Change:
   No garbage or recycling collection on Monday , January 1st .
   Please have your garbage and recycling containers out
   by 6:00 amon your collection day .
   Monday through Thursday Service Day
    
   will be 
   delayed by one day
    throughout the week of January 2 - 5 .
   Example
   : Monday ' s route will be picked up Tuesday , Tuesdays route will be picked up Wednesday , etc .
