   Beaumont , CA - On Friday , May 20 , 2022 , at approximately
   12:22 a . m .
    , the Beaumont Police Department was notified of an attempted armed robbery at a restaurant in the 1500 block of
   2nd Street
    Marketplace .  
   The witnesses provided a suspect description of a black male adult , in his 30’s wearing a mask , grey hooded sweatshirt , dark pants and black shoes .  
   The
   suspect left the location on foot , officers arrived , but were unable to locate the suspect in the surrounding area . Employees did not report anything taken during the attempted robbery .
   This case is still under investigation . Information can be reported to the On - Duty Watch Commander at
   951 - 769 - 8500
    .
