This position supports the Administrative function of Human Resources by providing administrative support to all members of Town of Eagle business locations. The role performs the following duties:
creating reports, managing files, reviewing, and coding invoices for payment, reviewing fee structures and related regulations, database entry (Caselle, HRIS), record-keeping, file maintenance, processing mail, and other support functions as needed by staff. The role will assist with HRIS data entry, recruitment administrative processes, participate in the full employee lifecycle, file retention and management, and assist with employee benefit plans to ensure positive employee relations. May provide back up to other Administrative Technician’s by providing receptionist duties, answering calls, greeting staff and customers and may assist with public meeting minutes as needed as a backup during breaks and absences. Position placement at I or II level will depend on experience, education, and certifications.
Administrative Technician I - $19.15 – $22.98 per hour DOQ, plus benefits, requires 1-2 years’ experience.
Administrative Technician II – $22.95 – $27.54 per hour DOQ, plus benefits, requires 3-5 years’ experience, data base experience, some college or administrative certifications preferred.
Required Experience, Education, and Certifications:
High School diploma or GED required, some college, associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years or more of administrative experience and regular use of computers. Exposure to Human Resources in a public agency preferred or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
HR certification preferred
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a fulltime, benefits eligible position. Normal days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours weekly, flexible between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Ability to telecommute 1 day weekly. May attend Town Council (2nd and 4th Tuesday at 6 p.m.), and various committee meetings that typically occur during regular business hours.
