Mansfield , TX — [1/2/2024] — H - E - B , Mansfield ' s long - awaited new grocery store , has donated two Parent+Child Computer Carrels for the Mansfield Public Library’s children section .
   The Fairfield Parent+Child Computer Carrel is a major step forward in making the library a more digitally inclusive environment . The carrels allow parents to comfortably work or study at the library , while their children remain safely entertained in an adjoining LearnPLAY area . The children’s space includes a large mirror and soft play area .
   "H - E - B ' s generous donation strengthens our library ' s mission of providing accessible and engaging spaces for all our patrons , ” said Yolanda Botello , Director of Library and Historical Services . “It reinforces our commitment to serving the public as a hub for knowledge and community connection . "
   One of H - E - B’s pillars of giving centers on supporting organizations focused on education and literacy and causes that make a visible difference . “The workstation allows caregivers the opportunity to grow their skills while keeping their children close to them , ” said Mabrie Jackson , H - E - B public affairs senior director . “Offering this solution helps caregivers readily use the fantastic resources the Mansfield Public Library provides to support families for learning and growth .

   These workstations are available at the Mansfield Public Library during normal operating hours: 
   Monday , Wednesday , Friday: 10am - 6pm
   Tuesday , Thursday: 10am - 8pm
   Saturday: 10am - 4pm
