GROUNDS/MOW CREW
(SEASONAL-TEMPORARY)

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Delhi Charter Township is currently seeking individuals to work this summer (2022) on a seasonal-temporary basis approximately 40 hours per week. These positions are located in the Parks and Recreation and Buildings and Grounds Departments and consists of grounds keeping and general maintenance of recreational and township facilities, including mowing and trimming using hand and riding mowers, weed whip and other hand and power tools.
EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Possession of a High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Some experience in grounds keeping and related equipment preferred.
Other Requirements:
Possession of a valid Michigan Driver’s License with good driving
record. Good reading skills and ability to comprehend manuals and work orders. Ability to
verbally communicate with other staff and the public. Must be able to pass a pre-
employment physical.
AT WILL EMPLOYMENT
HOURLY RATE OF PAY:
$14.41
HOURS TO BE WORKED:
Specific hours to be worked are varied but will include evenings, weekends and holidays.
