☷ Hot Springs Arkansas - Garland County District Court to offer a warrant amnesty period

The Garland County District Court ( GCDC ) will be offering an amnesty period to individuals with active Failure to Appear or Failure to Pay warrants . For a limited time – Monday , April 4 , through Monday , April 18 , 2022 – individuals will be able to resolve outstanding warrants without going to jail or posting bonds .
“For individuals who have failed to appear , have outstanding balances of fines or costs with District Court , have fallen behind on a payment plan or are afraid of being arrested for failing to appear or pay , you don’t want to miss this offer , ” said Judge Meredith B . Switzer . “This is a great opportunity to settle with the court . ”
Those with active Failure to Appear or Failure to Pay warrants may report to the GCDC office , 607 Ouachita Avenue , on weekdays between 8:30 a . m . and 4 p . m . during the amnesty period to schedule a new court date , pay for the charges in full or reset a payment plan . Additional incentives , such as discounts on balances or releases on an individual’s driver’s license , may be available to those who resolve an outstanding balance for fines and costs .
